The Venue
Devonshire Terrace offers a unique venue for a wedding. The whole courtyard is covered by an enormous glass roof, so you never have to worry about the weather. It’s a great location in the City of London and was perfect for Abbi and Frank. who booked out the whole space for their reception. After their marriage service at St. Paul’s Cathedral two vintage London busses carried all their guests the short distance to Devonshire Terrace where cocktails and canapés were served.
Covered Courtyard
The covered western courtyard offers a spectacular setting for the wedding breakfast with a feeling of being outside, but protected from the elements and not at the mercy of the London weather
Devonshire terrace is part of the Drake and Morgan group, and as such the food was incredible and as night fell the courtyard was transformed into a magical space illuminated by lanterns strung above.
Planning a wedding at Devonshire Terrace
This was a fantastic wedding to photograph, a relaxed day full of joy which truly reflected the personalities of the bride and groom. I must thank my second photographer Nadine van Biljon for all her hard work. it was a long day, but a lot of fun and it was great to meet so many of Abbi and Franks lovely friends and family.
