Eltham Palace Wedding Photographer

I was thrilled to be asked to photograph Olivia and Brett’s wedding at Eltham Palace – it’s such a fantastic venue and I love the spectacular views over London. My day began with Olivia getting ready at their home in North London which resulted in one of my favourite photographs from the day – Olivia walking with her mother to her wedding car on Primrose Hill with the London Skyline behind her.

Marriage Ceremony at St. Brides

It’s great to be able to capture a different perspective during the marriage service, and at St. Bride’s church in Fleet Street I was able to get some photographs from the organ loft looking down from on high at the back of the magnificent church.

After the service and of course a gentle dusting of confetti, a couple of vintage Routemaster busses ferried all the guests to Eltham Palace. Because the grounds of the historic palace are a so beautiful, so it was not hard to choose some great spots for portraits of Olivia and Brett. Later in the evening we managed a few more shots during the ‘golden hour’ as a fiery sunset brought an end to what had been a perfect summers day. The party continued into the evening with speeches, cutting the cake and a packed dance floor!

Thanks so much for asking me to photograph your day – so much fun! Thank you also to my assistant and second photographer, Irene Yap. As always you are awesome!

From Olivia and Brett:

“We would like to say a massive THANK YOU for our wedding photos. Brett and I are over the moon about them. They really capture the mood of the day. It’s a lovely mix of images from the fun… to the beautiful!! Thanks very much for all your care throughout”
