The Venue
Park View Farm is a stunning wedding venue in Easthampstead near Wokingham in Berkshire. it is available for weddings and private parties between March and October.
The venue is run by Land for Events and is a truly magical setting with a marquee by a lake surrounded by woodland and countryside and bell tents for guests to camp on site.
Outdoor Ceremony by the Lake
Gemma and Spencer chose Park View Farm for their festival-themed wedding with a simple and informal marriage ceremony by the lake with Gemma’s friend Hannah as celebrant and the guests watching on with drinks in hand. A few drops of rain full during the ceremony, but by the time the rings had been exchanged the sun was out and the clouds cleared to give beautiful warm late summer sunshine for the rest of the day.
Relaxed Portraits
After the ceremony I took the couple for a short walk for some natural portraits. There is so much choice around the venue but the beautiful bridge on the lake and the wide-open space of the field were my favourite spots for some relaxed and unposed portraits of Gemma and Spencer together.
The was a campfire, live music and then fine food in the gorgeously decorated marquee and as the evening fell the first of a number of bands took to the stage to turn the wedding into a mini music festival finishing with sparklers and fireworks.
Planning a wedding at Park View Farm
