Sunbeam Studios Wedding Photographer
I joined Catherine in the morning at the Cranley Hotel for a couple of hours as she prepared for her wedding in nearby Notting Hill at the wonderfully historic Sunbeam Studios. The Grade ll listed building was once home to the Sunbeam Talbot Motor Company and was actually the first purpose-built car factory in Britain. These days it is used as studio space and as a stunning venue for weddings.
The Marriage Ceremony
Catherine arrived in appropriate style in a London black taxi, as Rob waited at the front of the Talbot Hall showing little sign of nerves! Catherine looked stunning as she walked down the aisle. Afterwards I spent a few minutes with the couple for some natural and relaxed photographs of them together as a married couple, plus a few family groups on the steps of Sunbeam Studios.
As the bubbly flowed everyone moved downstairs to the Main Hall for the speeches followed by the wedding breakfast under the imposing logo of the old Sunbeam factory. As the meal ended, the tables were swiftly cleared for the evening party to begin! It was a real pleasure to photograph this wedding, many thanks to Catherine and Rob for having me along!
A few words from the couple:
“Thank you so much! We just got the email in Thailand and watched together from our honeymoon. Such beautiful photos and memories that really capture the day.”
