Marina and Henry’s Wedding
What a great idea for a wedding theme. Marina and Henry recreated a village fete in the garden of Henry’s family home in Surrey complete with welly-wanging, splat the rat, board games and croquet.
The day began for me at a local guesthouse where Marina was getting prepared for the day ahead, before driving to the nearby village of Send to the beautiful and historic church for the marriage service. I love the shots of Marina bringing her veil down as she walks up the church path with her dad.
Confetti filled the air outside as the newly married couple emerged after the service and then everyone headed to Henry’s family home nearby for the village fete reception.
This was such a relaxed and fun wedding to photograph and it was a pleasure to be working alongside Aaron Jones of Reel Weddings. If you are planning a similar wedding I’d love to hear from you. Thanks so much to Marina and Henry for asking me to photograph their day. Editing the photographs and re-living the day really has been a labour of love.
